Axiom C₆ – Interference

Section 1: Formal Statement

C₆ — Interference
Distinctions, once in tension, begin to affect one another.

Interference arises when multiple distinctions — under asymmetrical constraint — begin to interact. It is the state where outcomes blur, paths overlap, and relational influence compounds. Without interference, systems remain separable. With it, they become unpredictable, entangled, and alive.

Section 2: Mathematical Framing

Let D={d1,d2,…,dn} be a set of distinct informational elements under tension.

Interference occurs when: ∃  i,j  such that  R(di,dj)≠R(di)+R(dj)

That is, the combined behavior is not reducible to the sum of its parts.

We define an interference operator I such that: I(di,dj)=R(di,dj)−[R(di)+R(dj)]

Where:

  • I>0: constructive interference
  • I<0: destructive interference
  • I=0: linearity (no interference)

Section 3: Conceptual Significance

  • Interference is what happens when independent loops begin to share informational space.
  • It is the root of:
    • Uncertainty
    • Complexity
    • Emergence
    • Entanglement
    • Nonlinear effects

It is the collapse of separability, the first moment when outcome space becomes interdependent.

Chrona treats interference as the informational origin of field behavior, wave phenomena, and all dynamic coupling.

Section 4: Examples

  • Quantum Mechanics: Wavefunction interference (double slit, superposition)
  • Waves: Constructive and destructive phase overlap
  • Logic Systems: Compounded logic gates or contradictory truths
  • Chrona: Loops under asymmetric tension begin to share boundary conditions, creating feedback structures that can amplify or suppress collapse potential

Section 5: Relational Context

AxiomRelationship
C₁ – DistinctionDefines difference
C₂ – RecurrenceEnables memory and pattern
C₃ – RelationConnects distinctions
C₄ – ConstraintLimits the space of valid relations
C₅ – AsymmetryImbalances those constraints, generating tension
C₆ – InterferenceOccurs when tensioned relations begin to affect each other — unpredictably and irreversibly

C₆ is the turning point from static tension to dynamic behavior.

Section 6: Consequences in Chrona

  • Interference gives rise to:
    • Emergent phenomena
    • Collapse variance
    • Complexity in relational nets
  • Collapse paths become probabilistic, not deterministic
  • Feedback and braiding patterns originate here
  • It is the precursor to Collapse (C₇) — where choice must be made
